Competition Category In The UK’s Biggest Talent Quest For
aspiring filmmakers.
UK UNSIGNED the organisers of one of the UK biggest
annual talent contests and Kush Films the leading independent promoters
of black films in the UK have joined together to create a totally new
talent competition aimed at finding the best
young filmmaking talent in London.
This will be a major annual event creating a
platform for new urban filmmakers, So it you re a aspiring young filmmaker,
or if you are a parent with a wannabe filmmaker in your house, this
is the opportunity you all have been waiting for>>>>>>
We are looking for first time
filmmakers with
new Short Films made especially
for UK UNSIGNED - FILM
Theme: Digital Fast-forward
(F.F.W) - Business & I!
(Your aspiring vision of where
you will be in business in 10 years time, will you be a CEO of your
own successful company, Will you be the UK's answer to Spike Lee, or
will you be a major film distributor etc - where will you be in your
business life?)
Any genre accepted: Comedy, Fiction, Drama, Action etc
(As long as the films outcome is of a positive
nature - we don't mind)
All submissions must be no
longer than 3 Minutes in length.
Films can be shot on all digital formats
including:
HD/SD/Mini DV/Digital camera (5 mega-pixels & upwards)
*(Films can also be edited by
the young filmmaker only).
3 finalists will be
selected by an guest industry panel to
enter an Audience Vote-Off
on a special big screen at the
UK UNSIGNED FINALS on
Sunday 12th July

All entrants
must be first time filmmakers aged between 16 - 24 yrs old.

Applicants
must live in the greater London area only.

Films must
not be edited by an experienced filmmaker.

Films must
be supplied in a digital format (DVD, Mini
DV, M-Peg, HD, SD).

Entrants must
supply an accompanying short biography on themselves with
their films.

Films must
not contain any language or scenes that may be considered
offensive.

Films must
be 3 minutes in maximum length.

Films must
reflect our theme of Digital Fast-forward (F.F.W) - Business
& I - 10 years time!

The organisers
will not be responsible for any films lost in the post (make
sure you keep an extra copy).

film copies will not be returned to filmmakers

can only submit 1 film entry.

be available to appear at the UK Unsigned finals on 12th July
